STUDENT HOSTEL ACCOMMODATION
CODE OF CONDUCT
  • 1. All residents are required to carry their valid identity card issued to them by the University.
  • 2. Hostel accommodation will be allotted to outstation students.
  • 3. Installation of air-conditioners is not allowed.
  • 4. Residents must pay their yearly dues by the due date.
  • 5. Residents must ensure that the doors are locked and all electrical switches are turned off when not in use. The responsibility for overall cleanliness of their unit lies with the residents of the respective unit.
  • 6. All residents are expected to be in the hostel before 10:00 PM. Residents who wish to be away after that time must obtain prior permission from the Hostel Warden.
  • 7. All visitors must register at the security station upon arrival and departure. No visitors are allowed after 5:00 PM. Overnight stays are strictly prohibited.
  • 8. Residents are not allowed to leave precious metals, cellphones, laptops, or excessive cash unattended. The hostel administration will not be responsible for any loss or damage.
  • 9. Residents must not behave rudely or impolitely with hostel staff or administration.
  • 10. Admitting strangers or unauthorized persons into hostel rooms is strictly prohibited.
  • 11. No males are allowed in the girls' hostel. Only immediate family members may visit before 12:00 PM with prior approval from the Hostel Warden.
  • 12. Residents are responsible for ensuring that their visitors comply with all rules and do not cause inconvenience to others.
  • 13. Residents must not hand over their hostel keys to any other person.
  • 14. Day scholars are not allowed to enter or visit the hostel.
  • 15. Possession or use of liquor, cigarettes, drugs, or weapons (licensed or unlicensed) is strictly prohibited. Violation may result in immediate expulsion without warning.
  • 16. Gambling or betting games are strictly not allowed within the hostel premises.
  • 17. Vandalism or damaging hostel/university property is a serious offense and may result in eviction.
  • 18. Causing embarrassment, unsolicited compliments, or spreading false rumors will result in eviction.
  • 19. Fighting or engaging in physical violence is not allowed and will lead to eviction.
  • 20. The University reserves the right for authorized officers to inspect rooms at any time, with or without prior notice or the presence of the resident.
